“The Apple Shed Tasmania is a Museum, Ciderhouse and Cafe in the Huon Valley, showcasing the best local produce.”
The Apple Shed is a Cider House, Distillery & Museum, showcasing the best local products Tasmania and the valley has to offer. In the rustic surrounds of an original apple shed built in 1942, learn about the Huon regions fascinating apple heritage told through the eyes of Willie Smith, the founder of William Smith and Sons Orchards. Wander around the museum, take a walk around our heritage apple trees, or enjoy trying a few of our handcrafted ciders made out of apples from the orchard 200m down the road. At Willie Smith's Apple Shed, we believe the best tasting food is local, seasonal and sustainable. We have created a simple menu that showcases produce from the most passionate farmers, growers and makers who, like us, understand that good things take time and who share our belief in creating great tasting products by using great quality ingredients.
