McHenry Distillery

Located at Port Arthur, the McHenry Distillery is Australia's southern-most whisky distillery. As well the Distillery specializes in premium spirits including Gin and Vodka. The distillery's southern location takes advantage of the cool, moist maritime environment providing perfect conditions for whisky making. The distillery uses its own abundant clear spring water that flows directly into the distillery and becomes the heart of the developing spirit. You can visit and experience hand-made single malt Tasmanian whisky and other high quality spirits like gin, slow gin and vodka. The McHenry Distillery have now opened a new Cellar Door at the new Brooke Street Pier on Hobart's waterfront. Open seven days a week from 0930 until 1800 where you can try McHenry Distillery's award winning spirits. Tours are by appointment.
