The century-old wood-fired oven here produces all manner of pies – from egg-and-bacon to Thai massaman and glistening custard.

Also on offer are old-fashioned cakes and slices (snowballs! jelly slice! swiss roll!).

Like all these little villages there is usually one great local bakery with pies and cakes. This is just another one but very friendly service. Great choice as usual. Clean and great coffee.... Read more
