Sit on the veranda and watch the waves and bird life of the Southern Ocean. Wildlife is abundant here, so after sunset don't be surprised to see wallabies, possums and maybe a Tasmanian Devil. South of Marrawah is the Tarkine and Arthur River where a river cruise takes you through unspoilt magnificent rainforest, where you can observe sea eagles and wildlife. North of Marrawah is the historic 22,000 hectare property of Woolnorth where you can take a tour of the old farm buildings, or its giant turbine wind farm and Cape Grim, with the cleanest air in the world.
