“eclectic shabby chic cafe”
The Little Queen Café opened in 2010 in the midst of Sydneys creative hub of Chippendale just round the corner from the world famous ‘White Rabbit’ gallery. The small space has a cool eclectic shabby chic look with a slight nod to owner Rob Fullers British roots. The Little Queen is open only weekdays (at the moment!) for breakfast and lunch. Food is done simply, breakfast is house made muesli, muffins, banana bread, gluten free treats, toast, pastries or the healthy yogurt nut and berry option. Wash it down with an Allpress coffee, one of Sydneys finest. Lunch is a choice of the daily salad (or soup in the winter) full of fresh ingredients or one of our hearty sandwiches. Friday is the popular veggie nachos day. The café is great for business meetings, or even just sitting on your own reading the papers. We pride ourselves on freshness and quality both with our food and coffee and aim to be as ethical as possible. This year we are proud to support ‘The Bread and Butter Project’ our new bread supplier. Created by the guys at Bourke Street Bakery, the Bread and Butter Project employ and train former refugees and asylum seekers who have been given a new home in Australia, in the art of artisan bread making to help them start their new lives here. So not only do we support a good cause, we also get great bread.
