Alpacas Chaparral

Alpaca breeders for some 20 years, we have developed a herd of above average Alpacas which have won numerous awards both in South Australia & nationally. Some of our Alpacas have also won awards in England.

Having sold Alpacas overseas & interstate, we pride ourselves on providing both pets & sheep guardians with excellent on going support for all our clients.

We have now moved into a purpose built farm to continue our breeding and also to promote Alpaca through our alpaca shop & gallery which carries a large variety of both high end South American fashion as well as Australian & locally made.

Some 7 years on and things are going well here at Alpacas Chaparral. Our on farm shop “The Quechua Connection” is still showcasing some of the best alpaca goods from overseas, Australia & locally made clothing. Our animals are doing well although lack of rain has impeded our showing even more than usual this year. Until early August we virtually have had no or little rain and our crop is just beginning to grow now which means that we’ll have a lean summer, particularly as El Nino has arrived apparently which usually means warmer and drier conditions for us.
