Glen-Forest Tourist Park is set in very picturesque surroundings just 15 minutes drive from Port Lincoln, South Australia. Glen-Forest Tourist Park is a 400 acre farm, with 70 acres dedicated to the animal park. 60 acres of Vineyard also exists on the property, varieties grown are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. This family operated tourist park provides a casual atmosphere where visitors are invited to wander at leisure, stopping to feed the variety of animals and birds. There are baby animals for the children to feed and cuddle. Fed by natural springs and creeks all year round, the dams are home to prolific water birds. Animal varieties include: Koalas, dingos, kangaroos, wombats, sheep (including Damaras), goats, emus, camels, horses, cows, water buffalos, Babe the Pig, ostriches, ducks, peacocks and a walk in bird aviary. A recently added attraction is the “Animal Run” 18 hole Putt Putt Mini Golf Course. Glen-Forest Tourist Park offers the usage of a free barbecue undercover eating area with a kiosk where tea, coffee, drinks, ice creams and souvenirs are available. Currently under proposal Glen-Forest is establishing a new Interpretive Wetlands and Creek-Line Nature walk.
