Barachel Alpacas located at Port Giles, near Wool Bay, was established in 1994 as the first alpaca stud on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. Part of the 550 hectare sheep and cropping property 'fairview', established by the Daniell family in 1875, it offers a picturesque view which overlooks St. Vincent's Gulf towards the Mount Lofty Ranges behind Adelaide.
