“Experience Life Beneath The Waves.”
Oceanic Victor was established by Mick Dyer and his wife, Yasmin and their business partner and friend, Tony Santic – all of whom have multi-generational links with South Australia’s fishing industry and for whom the sustainability of our sea life is paramount. “We’re lucky to have grown up on and in South Australia’s oceans and in families whose livelihood has depended on the sustainability of our marine environment,” they say. “Through the Oceanic Victor in-sea aquarium, we’re aiming to give others the opportunity to experience and understand our diverse marine environment in the same way as we have.” Mick, Yasmin and Tony have a long-term vision to develop Granite Island as an educational resource, foster marine research, and revitalise the environmental and ecological contribution of the island including wildlife education and penguin protection. They also hope Oceanic Victor will provide a platform for promoting South Australia’s strengths as a source of clean, green and sustainable quality seafood for the world – opportunities directly aligned with the State Government’s commitment to ensure a sustainable local fishery through its introduction of Marine Parks.
