“Welcome to the William Creek Hotel. We've been voted No. 2 Outback Pub!”
Established in 1887 and Heritage listed the William Creek Hotel is one of the World’s most remote pubs. It is situated on the Oodnadatta Track by the Old Ghan Line in Outback South Australia. The front bar is uniquely decorated by travellers from all over the world with memorabilia. William Creek is reputed to be the smallest town in South Australia surrounded by the world’s largest cattle station, Anna Creek Station. It is the closest town to Lake Eyre North and is the gateway to The Simpson Desert. Scenic flights are available all year round to experience the beauty of Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda) when dry or in flood and the amazing Anna Creek Painted Hills from the air. Visit the Wrightsair website for more information on flights from William Creek and Coober Pedy.
