Showgrounds Cottage at 198 Smith Street is opposite the Showgrounds, a popular events venue, and close to the centre of Naracoorte. It's a self contained bed and breakfast, private for one guest group at a time, whether for one guest or four, so you don't share with anyone. Tariffs are based on the number of guests and the number of nights and include full breakfast provisions. The 1900 timber cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a queen size bedroom and a twin bedroom with two king single beds. The sitting/dining room has a comfortable leather sofa and two recliners, a wood-burning combustion heater, television and DVD player. The bathroom has a spa bath, separate shower and vanity. Next door is a separate WC. The laundry area has a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. The galley kitchen has a cooktop, oven, microwave, rainwater tap, cookware, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Showgrounds Cottage has reverse cycle air conditioners in the sitting/dining room and bedrooms; and a wood burning combustion heater in the sitting/dining room. A feature is a modern back verandah with decking and a barbecue and outdoor setting; ideal for casual meals, drinks and snacks.
