Cape Cassini Wilderness Retreat is the only Advanced EcoTourism accredited accommodation (offering either self contained or bed and breakfast ) on Kangaroo Island with wonderful panoramic ocean views from the upstairs balcony view guest bed rooms. The Retreat built with rammed earth and stone from our track is self sufficient for electricity (generated from solar panels and a wind generator) and rain water collected from our roof. There are two ensuite king size bedrooms with walk in robes and a twin room with a downstairs private bathroom, ideal for children to stay in. Guest areas include a lounge, library and a sunroom where animals can be viewed within 10 metres. Guests enjoy hosted bed and breakfast accommodation, great hospitality in a peaceful, remote natural environment. Watch the wildlife, enjoy bushwalking, take a guided tour and experience the beauty of the sea and shoreline. Nestled in a wilderness setting of kangaroos, wallabies and other Australian wildlife, we offer a holiday with peace of mind as a carbon positive destination. Recent guests commented, "Everything is fantastic! This place is truly a slice of heaven. We had a marvellous time and we hope to come back and see you one day".
