Originally a blacksmith shop built in 1864, Bluey's is now a family owned business providing a range of unique accommodation at an affordable price. Guests can choose from 'The Cottage', a quaint stone building with heritage fittings, perfect for couples or 'The Barn', a unique barn style building accommodating up to four people. We pride ourselves on providing those extra touches that make Blueys a very special place to stay. Situated on three quarters of an acre of native gardens Blueys provides privacy and tranquillity whilst being only a short stroll to local pubs and attractions. Stepping into Bluey's is like stepping back in time. It is a great place to reconnect with family or friends around a campfire or to explore the beautiful Mount Remarkable and nearby Alligator Gorge. Bluey Blundstone's is conveniently located in the main street of Melrose in the Southern Flinders Ranges, only 270 kilometres north of Adelaide making it a great destination for a weekend away.
