The Bilby Experience

Come on nd have a look around at the Charleville Bilby Centre and book into one of our special experiences. Your guide will teach you about the bilby and Australia's native animal extinction crisis. You will have the rare and unique opportunity to see bilbies in the nocturnal house established in the Historic Charleville Railway Station as well as 'up close and personal' in the special day shows. By visiting the Charleville Bilby Centre and booking into one of our experiences you are helping to save the bilbies as all of the proceeds from the tours and souvenirs go directly to the vital work we do in saving them. The tours last an hour but allow time for looking at the shop and nocturnal house and talking to our guides. Remember, only those who book into a show will see a bilby 'up close and personal'. The Charleville Bilby Experience (April to October) This is a guided tour of the Charleville bilbies in their railway station home. 5:00pm 7 nights a week $10 per person, $5 for children under 10 years (free under 4 years) * Maximum of 60 people in a show The Up Close and Personal Encounter (April to October) You will meet one of the bilbies 'up close and personal' in the keeper's arms. You will also have a guided tour of the bilbies home in the Charleville Railway Station. 1230pm Tuesday to Saturday (not available Sunday and Monday) $25 per person, $20 for children under 10 years (free under 4 years) * Maximum 15 people in a session when the midday show fills we may be able to open a second show at 2:30pm.
