To start your free visit to the Outback Opal Mine why not view the interesting eight minute documentary available in English, Japanese and German. Then take a walk through the simulated Opal mine to see a variety of rough black, boulder and crystal opal embedded in the wall. Relax on the verandah and enjoy morning or afternoon tea. If you have ever wondered how opal gougers work, how opal is formed and how it is cut and polished, be sure to visit Joe and Susan Clyde's showroom. A courtesy coach is available for up to 14 people.
Don’t bother it’s closed. Looked closed for sometime. October 2021
