Watersports Guru - Stand Up Paddle Boarding

As you paddle along you can choose an upstream paddle where you will often see reflections of casuarina tree swamp, mangroves and the beginning of sub tropical rainforest along with ospreys, sea eagles and other amazing flora and fauna.

Alternatively you can head downstream towards the mouth of Cudgen Creek and enjoy mini beaches, great swimming spots and the company of pelicans and the occasional dolphins.

Whether you’re coming down for your first lesson, wanting to share the experience with a friend or really just keen to soak in the beautiful surrounds, we look forward to sharing this special place with you.

We offer both general hire or lessons to suit all ages and abilities both private or group lessons.

Paddle Board Lessons:

A SUP lesson is a fantastic way to experience paddle boarding with the company of one of our friendly Gurus. If it is your first time or your not feeling particularly confident we will introduce you to the basics, along with skills, smiles and little tips you’ll need to really enjoy yourself out on the creek.

If you have been paddle boarding before and already confident but want to extend your skills we can also share with you more advanced skills such as pivoting, landing, submarine and improving your technique to advance onto waves.

Paddle board lessons are indeed a favourite of ours as not only do we get to see you experience and discover the fun of paddle boarding, but it also allows us to share our special spots, little tricks and gives us an opportunity to join you on the water and share the adventure too.
