Yamba Main Beach and Ocean Pool

Right in the heart of town lays one of the best family beaches in Yamba and a must visit while in Yamba. Home to the Yamba Surf Lifesaving Club, one of the oldest clubs in New South Wales, the beach is patrolled on weekends and during school holidays between September and Easter. The waves out back are perfect for surfing and are generally smaller than the break at Turners and Pippi Beaches. This small protected beach is overlooked by the iconic Pacific Hotel and also home to the ocean pool built into the rocks. The pool is cleaned regularly by the changing of the tides and provides a safe environment for a peaceful swim without waves. Entertain the kids in the rock pools searching for marine life or simply just relax with the family. There is a kiosk and amenities close by with easy access to nearby cafés and restaurants.
