Jenolan Caves

Open every day, Jenolan Caves are the largest, most spectacular and most famous caves in Australia. Said to be the world's oldest 'discovered' caves, because who can say what hasn't been discovered, they stretch for more than 40 kilometres across multi-level passages with over 300 entrances. It's a maze of caves that are 340 million years old. And quite amazing. Let's just say the caves are so big they are still being explored, and there are eleven illuminated show caves open to paying visitors. Set in Blue Mountains World Heritage wilderness, Jenolan Caves are a national treasure of dark beauty and scale. Great for old and young and everyone in between.
