Walcha Caravan Park

Walcha Caravan Park is one of the best caravan parks in Australia according to the many comments received at the Visitor Information Centre by well travelled nomads as well as by Star Ratings Australia. Quiet, peaceful, meticulously clean and friendly hospitable staff all contribute to the reputation the park has earned, along with great facilities and cheap rates. It is within walking distance to the main part of town (along the Apsley River where there are numerous sculptures to be viewed). Features include: eight grassy powered drive through sites, powered slab sites, shady camp sites camp kitchen with microwave, wood heater, fridge, stove and hot water, coin laundry and Eftpos. The park has an amenities block with under floor heating and piped music. There is a huge area for recreation and lovely shaded areas. The barbecue area makes cooking a pleasure.
