Tathra Hotel

Tathra Hotel was first opened in 1888 as the Ocean View Hotel and is heritage listed. Perched on the headland, it is arguably the best located hotel in Australia. With its panoramic ocean views it is a great spot for whale watching as well as a welcoming place for a drink or meal. The red brick motel across the road was added in 1975 and offers comfortable accommodation with ocean views. The hotel bistro is open every day for lunch and dinner, and the menu features local produce. There are ten beers on tap, regular live entertainment, free WiFi (hotel), and a courtesy bus.
