“Enliven your senses and explore the four distinctive garden spaces at the Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden.”
Enliven your senses and explore the four distinctive garden spaces at the Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden. Shoyoen, or 'strolling' garden, is an authentic Japanese Garden featuring architectural and horticultural elements under the care of Friends of the Garden, as well as gardeners from Dubbo's Sister City, Minokamo. Enjoy a peaceful meander through the Biodiversity Garden, showcasing native plant communities of the Dubbo region. Take time out at the Sensory Garden - an invigorating experience which has been designed to engage through smell, sight, sound, touch and taste. Oasis Valley is the newest addition to the garden. The Valley exhibits dry rainforest species and tells the story about how local bushland species evolved from the cool forests of Gondwanaland.
