Just 200 metres from Main Beach, this hostel in the centre of Byron Bay offers free use of bicycles and boogie boards. The common areas surround a large heated pool and BBQ area. Free pick-up service from the coach terminal is available by prior arrangement. Cape Byron YHA Hostel is 3 km from Cape Byron Lighthouse and it is 20 minutes’ drive to Crystal Castle. Private and dormitory rooms are available. All rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities. Facilities include a cafe, dive centre and separate TV/reading room. The tour desk can arrange sea kayaking, surfing lessons, hang-gliding, horse riding and trips to Nimbin. The property conducts free walking tours to the Cape Byron Lighthouse, and free wallaby spotting tours. Guests under the age of 18 years are not permitted to stay in the dormitory rooms.
