Be delighted by the wide streetscapes and grand architecture of Bendigo as your tram shares entertaining stories about the city founded on one of the world’s richest goldfields. Your hop-on, hop-off Vintage Talking Tram ticket is valid for two consecutive days and also includes two fascinating themed tours: The Dja Dja Wurrung Tram uncovers the unique and fascinating traditions of Bendigo’s first people and shares a story more than 40,000 years in the making. It departs from Central Deborah Gold Mine at 10am each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The Anzac Centenary Tram explores the impact of WW1 on the local Bendigo community. It departs from Central Deborah Gold Mine at 10:00am each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Australia’s oldest operating tram depot will leave you in awe as you are dwarfed by the many heritage trams which live there, each with their own story to tell.
