Heenan Building Alice Springs

The building is a two storey masonry building with parapet walls hiding a flat cgi roof that is currently home to a number of different commercial enterprises. Some aspects of the original 1949 building that were retained during the 1958 works, that saw the addition of a second storey to the building, includes the major part of the original exterior blockwork walls and concrete cantilevered awning over the footpath. The 1958 rendered façade is well preserved and the original external steel-framed casement windows on the upper storey has also survived largely intact.
