“one of the biggest playgrounds in the US”
Yuma has one of the biggest – and coolest – creative playgrounds in the country. Yuma kids helped design Stewart Vincent Wolfe Memorial Playground at West Wetlands Park (enter from 1st Street at 12th or 22nd avenues), which was built entirely by volunteers. From a towering dragon slide to a Marine fighter jet to a miniature western town, this one-of-a-kind playground encourages imagination and exploring.
Beautiful Playground for kids and its free! Nice little place to stop, take a break and stretch your legs. If you're not used to the heat come when the sun goes down.
Perfect place for your littles to burn some energy while traveling. Pick up some fast food and picnic in the park.
