This place is great. Sorta small RV sites cleared of trees so pulling in and using the site is easy. Water pressure good. Sights are level. Lots of family stuff. Great pool!
Small, close sites. Very clean and organized. Surrounded by trees but none over the RV sections. Lots of activities for the whole family.
This place has just improved like crazy in the past two years. It's a clean, groomed KOA type park, quiet (though somewhat near the freeway) place and what you'd expect from a KOA, maybe a little less "kid" and more seniors but all around if you're into Kamping, this place shouldn't disappoint.

We stayed here one night on the way to Boston and found it to be very clean and the sites are decent sized. Only about 10 of us here on a Tuesday in late August. They have tons of facilities for families including a bowling alley and arcade.
It's a great location for a stopover if you are on 81 between Roanoake and Knoxville.

Super well cared for Park. We don’t normally stay in KOA; stopped to look around the area and we’re pleased at the Park appearance.
Facilities such as bath and shower set up were clean and easily accessible. Typical camp store on site. Has bowling alley, pool and other recreational items to entertain the bored.
Only two downsides:
Sites are unlevel and in some cases you’ll need all your blocks and more. I counted 8 block under one rig. We got away with two.
Lastely the proclaimed internet wouldn’t stay connected. Notified the office and young fellow said it’s an ongoing issue in lower part of Park.

Roads were easy to navigate to campground. Site 79 was a back in, very level, private and wooded. Was a perfect size for our teardrop camper. Owners accompanied you to site to make sure you were able to get set up. Nice camp store with RV supplies, groceries and gifts. 10 pin bowling center and game room on site along with mini golf and pool, Hunt Brothers Pizza and ice cream and laundry. Electric and water on site worked well. Picnic table on concrete slab. Fire ring in sandy soil. Restrooms and showers were clean. Verizon cell worked great. Would book this site again if visiting this area. Did not use any discount.

We stayed in 2 koa's this trip there was a world of difference. This was not so good. No one escorted you to the site which is usually not an issue except this park is very confusing how it it laid out. Roads not marked which way the traffic was to move. Roads uneven with gravel. The directions from the staff was confusing with the roads not marked. Site 49 was very short and uneven. We just gave up and slept with our heads down. Water pressure good, electric worked well. Wifi did not work, Cable ok. T-mobile worked well, we had to hot spot from it. When you get off the interstate and get back on was confusing. We just drove on Cleveland Ohio without problems,so I don't think it was us.If we had been staying more than one night I would have ask for a different site. Maybe this is why we got the bad site?

We really enjoyed our time at this KOA. It is interesting, because it seems to be very much a “one-and-done” stop. We checked in on a Wednesday, and the park was maybe half full. By Friday, the park was at capacity. However, Saturday morning, about half the RVs left, but by that afternoon, new ones had arrived. Sunday morning, the park cleared out again. It was just a different experience than we are used to, but it made for some prime people and RV-watching! Site 28 is a very spacious, corner lot that has a large tree that provides some much needed afternoon shade. The site is also very confident to the bath house, which was one of the cleanest we have been in this summer, as well as the pool. The water slide is closed, as well as the Fun Center, but the playground and mini golf are still open. I enjoyed morning walks through the entire campground. The 70s and 80s are definitely are the most wooded and have most shade. I’d like to stay in those sites next time. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!
