Located on a quiet, tree-lined street two blocks from the Downtown Wilmington Cape Fear waterfront, The Verandas, an elegant 8500 square foot Victorian Italianate Mansion, is a quiet and social getaway for both tourist and executive alike. Rest awhile on one of the four spacious verandas, or linger in our award-winning garden. Come morning, gather for breakfast in our large dining room for a delicious gourmet breakfast. Socialize in the living room surrounded by beautiful antiques, or stroll only 4 blocks to the historic shopping district of Wilmington, NC where you can enjoy upscale shops, clubs, and fine restaurants. Make a day of it and tour the Battleship North Carolina or take a trolley ride and view historic homes. Come back and enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks in the Butler’s Pantry all day long. Starting at 5pm daily, please join us for complimentary wine. If the ocean is on your mind, we are only a 15 minute drive to one of North Carolina's finest beaches, Wrightsville Beach.
