“Where you can count sheep to go to sleep”
The Guesthouse offers a gourmet vegan breakfast (organic and local whenever possible), restored claw foot tubs with showers, free WiFi, live rooster “alarm clocks” next door—with all of our other wonderful rescued farm animal friends just steps away. You won’t believe the view from the covered porch, where you can kick back in rocking chairs and watch the sun set over the Catskill Mountains with happy animals roaming in the pastures. Volunteering on the farm during your stay is also a rewarding experience. Note that if you’re allergic to cats this is not the place for you The profits earned go directly to care for our 300+ rescued animals and help fund our advocacy work on behalf of farmed animals everywhere. Bikes available! The Guesthouse warmly welcomes well-behaved (only canine) companion animals on a case-by-case basis for an additional $15 per night. They must remain on leash and with their guardians on site at all times and cannot venture on to shelter grounds. All visiting dogs must also be cat-friendly as The Guesthouse is home to resident two cats.
