“just north of unusual”
The only place in Williamsburg where you’ll find shrunken heads, a 12ft tall Transformer sculpture made of scrap car parts, an authentic vampire killing kit, one-of-a-kind artwork, tons of hands-on interactives, and a wicked spinning vortex tunnel! Founded in 1918 by cartoonist and adventurer Robert Ripley. Dubbed by many "The Modern Marco Polo", Ripley became America's most popular celebrity of his time. The collection of odd, unique and incredible artifacts, art, photographs, and stories of the 200+ countries he visited are the foundation of today's Ripley's Believe It or Not! brand.
What made the trip that much better was the interactive activities. That made this Ripleys museum better then others we went to. They also have a 4-D movie- get both and start with one double feature and end your tour with the other one. The kids loved it!
