Welcome to Gray Ghosts Trail Inn! This special house is tucked away in the little village of Williamsburg, MO.  (Home of Crane's Country Store!!!) We also have one of the oldest Post Offices still operating in Callaway County, Gray Ghosts Trail Inn, llc sits on the Gray Ghosts Trail, where 'bloody Bill Anderson' stormed through this little village, picking up guerillas on his way to destroy the first county seat of Missouri, Danville.  We are proud of our historical connection to the civil war trail.  House was built in 1905, and reopened in July, 2013. We are not a typical B&B. The whole house becomes your very own private getaway for extremely reasonable prices.  The house is fully furnished, complete with washer/dryer.  We can stock the kitchen for you for a super rate or even provide coupons for Marlene's restaurant a couple of blocks away as in one of the pricing packages!!!  Your choice!  See the packages tabs for pricing choices. We're just a short distance from Whetstone Conservation Area where you can fish or target practice. Just a short drive from Hermann, MO, wine country and beautiful hillsides, or Fulton, MO where Winston Churchill gave his famous speech.  We can help to arrange tours whatever your likes are. 1 block away is the famous Crane's Country Store, featuring Carhartt, Filson and great candy and sandwiches. We'll design a package just for you! Not an early riser?  No problem!  Sleep in, and have a continental breakfast or hot breakfast whenever you're ready (available with Package Two or Three). We have flexible check in and check out times. We are constantly improving the property, and adding special things each month.  Might be a new bush, or sitting area, it's always fun to hear our guests comment on the new things they discover upon their return visits.
