“enjoy the experience of the old West”
The Lifestyle RV Park is located in the beautiful Historic town of Willcox and is a great spot for an easy-going Arizona vacation. Campers can look forward to a quiet desert setting filled with fresh air and wide open skies for sunset viewing and stargazing. The Keiller Park and Recreation is a well-known spot for nature enthusiasts to explore, hike and bike. We are within thirty minutes of the breath taking Chiricahua National Monument. The Fort Bowie Historic Site, Rex Allen Museum and Chiricahua Regional Museum are also popular spots for cultural and historical exploration. And of course, many head to the Coronado Vineyards and Apple Annie's Orchard to enjoy the fruits of the land, as well as the numerous bird watching areas and cattle ranches. Willcox is known for its wide variety of vineyards and wine tasting tours. Come to enjoy the wine Festivals the third weekend in May and October every year. In January we have Wings over Willcox where thousands of sand cranes migrate for the avid bird watchers to come enjoy. Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on February 12, 2022We originally planned to spend two nights here meeting up with road friends but ended up just doing one night. For the price ($39) it seemed like a bit much for what it is and where it is. It's called Lifestyle RV "Resort" but it's really a gravel parking lot. That's not really a knock, it's perfectly fine, I just think calling it a resort is a bit of a stretch. But wow, the wifi was blazing fast when we were there (which was good because our primary phones are T-Mobile and we had nothing). See the pictures I added for documentation on the wifi speeds, it averaged 40 Mbps! If you do stay here, take note that there is a fireplace in a small seated area by the building. We didn't notice it until the next morning; I'm sure it would have been nicer sitting there at night when it got chilly. Lastly, one of the reasons we picked this campground to stop at was because there was an indoor pool that we thought the kids would enjoy since it was a little bit too cold outside (low 60s) for swimming. Upon inspection, we decided the lack of any active water filters/return and the particular color of the water would not make for a healthy swimming option...
Also, if you have a rig that is lower to the ground like an Airstream, there is a dip on the egress. We did bottom out the hitch receiver just a bit when leaving.

This park allows pets, but there is nowhere decent to walk them so you have to go into the landscaping outside the gate, beside the highway, for them to do their business. The office staff are super friendly and accommodated our last-minute booking. Unfortunately the spaces are extremely tight and it took quite a bit of back and forth with the help of an employee for us to get in and clear the mechanicals with our slides, and the location of their dumpster made it tricky getting out the next day. It was a decent place for a one-night stop and you couldn't ask for nicer people.
Lifestyles RV made an excellent base to see SE Arizona for a week. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They helped us with birding, history of the area and knowledge of places to visit within Willcox (coffee shop, wine tasting, restaurants, etc.) Located a mile from the freeway, (4 if you take the 1st exit), it is very quiet. Although the trains are nearby, it is a “no horn” area so they never bothered. Near the freeway (1 mile) is a nice hardware store and Safeway if you are needing anything. Not sure why previous thought pool & hot tub were not clean. They clean restrooms, gym equipment area and pools daily - and even post it + explain and have sanitation supplies for Covid purposes. We especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub and full exercise gym. They have a small store, donate one/take one library, and some movies to borrow. Although we were there during a cold spell, the outdoor seating areas were attractive. Yes, the spaces are close together, but we were fine with our 35’ motorhome and tow vehicle and we saw several rigs in the 40' range. There is a mix of pull thru short-term sites (in the middle), winter monthly’s and long term, but all were neat and quiet. The sandhill cranes (100's of them) were spending the winter just 2.5 miles from Lifestyles. It is not the cheapest RV park in town, but we felt it was the best value.
