Natchez Trace State Park is a gorgeous park to walk around. Do the "Cub Creek Trail", it's a lush little walk, and if you have time hike the four miles around the beautiful Cub Lake. It's not a particularly busy state park, but on holidays you'll have some moderate crowds.
This was a wonderful campsite for tent camping! We loved that our spot was secluded, but it was still close enough to the facilities to be convenient. There is a nice swimming area and boating area (kayaks and paddle boats).
Trails were not marked and Waze had a hard time getting us to the main entrance.
