We LOVED this as part of our Colorado to Florida pit stop! We did use All Trails app to find the Falls and it was easy to navigate (search for “Wichita Falls via Wichita River Trail”). There were butterflies everywhere and the Falls were very nice. Lovely for a walk, run, bike and pet friendly!
The falls were pretty. But finding it is very complicated. Even the few signs to indicate where they were, is unclear. It would be an easy walk to see the falls, but we went when it was 107 degrees in the middle of the day…. So that made it pretty tough.
Hard to find, but good place to take pictures.
Very difficult to find minimal markers with in the park indicating where to find the Falls or how far away are they are the water is brown and ugly it is early January and freezing cold everything is dead and brown maybe summer is better but today was not worth the trip.
Hard to find. Park in the first parking area and walk the path across the street ... in the heat it seems longer than a mile, but it was pretty. We ended up picnicking in the pavilion by the playground and the kids loved it. Good break for a 7 hour journey.
