Rodeway Inn

Only good thing about this hotel was the location near the Carlsbad Caverns, and the bed was very comfortable but not sure how clean the sheets were. The Check-in guy was nice enough but in the morning the woman was "having a bad day". Breakfast was the worst I've had. My husband nearly vomited from the expired OJ, 48% Vegetable Oil was a lame excuse for butter for the waffles...No where to sit to eat breakfast but could take it up to our dark room... and the room just had a unclean feel to it besides the ants invading the sink and counter. Would not stay here again.

Best things about the Rodeway Inn are: the price, the location is right before you enter Carlsbad Carverns, and the staff is friendly. I just wish they would do a better job at cleaning the rooms. The main items are clean: the bed, toilet, sink, shower. It is the the little details like the base boards, spots on walls; your eyes, fingerprints all over the refrigerator; your eyes get drawn to these spots.

50/50 Rooms are nice and big with comfy king size bed, nicely decorated and appeared real nice. Water park for kidos looked fun, no kids just 2 adults. Staff was very friendly. However the housekeeping is lacking. Rooms where half assed cleaned. Rugs didn't look like they'd been vacuumed recently, baseboards and under bed and corners of the room where fuzzy with dust, lent, and hair. The bathroom toilet had a urine ring in it and the door had something splattered all over it?? And the dust, lent, and something else ?? on the bottoms of the nightstand was thick enough to right your name!! Also there where dead, thank god, little black beetles all over the bathroom and vanity area floor and in front of the frig, kinda gross.
