The only redeeming qualities was friendly staff and a clean pool.
Don't get me wrong, the lady at the front desk was super nice and the facilities were clean. But if we're just being honest, this is a parking lot next to a trailer community behind a casino. We fell asleep to the sounds of a fiesta (sounded super fun but not helpful for sleeping), were woken up in the middle of the night to a domestic disburse, and listened to the growing sounds of a cat from a ride in one of the nearby casinos on loop. It wasn't my favorite stay and we won't be back.
This is a fairly large park with gravel roads and sites. The spaces are nice size and long enough for our 42 ft motorhome and tow vehicle. Free wifi works great.
They have shuttle service to the casinos, so you don't even have to unhook if you want to take the shuttles. The only downside is they have some sort of thorny stickers that you can't see, but they stick in your shoes, and our Cocker Spaniel had a hard time walking. This is the reason we didn't give it full stars. I don't know if this is seasonal, but you have to make sure to scrape your shoes or you will get these thorns in your RV when coming inside.

We chose this as our first stop heading west from the Park City area. It is a typical KOA. The park is all gravel and fairly close together sites but we've seen worse. All sites appeared to be very level and some sites were long enough to leave your tow attached but not many. There are only 6 sites with FHU's and 50 amp. All othe FHU sites have 30 amp. The park was quiet at night. This park sits almost right on the Utah/Nevada. The park is actually in West Wendover which is in Nevada. The RV park listed for the Nuggets Casino has been paved over for a fuel station and parking. There is only a small RV Park with about 15 sites which is of full time residence. There are 30 amp boxes in the new fuel parking lot by the RV park. This is the reason the KOA had a lot of overnight business and is the place to stay. Our price reflects KOA reward card.

We had truck issues on the way out of Utah on I80 and needed to find a place to camp for what we thought would be a couple of nights but turned into almost a week. Luckily this KOA was in town. It is older and a bit rundown but has plenty of spots both with full hookups and water+electric. It has laundry and a bathroom facility with showers. Again the facilities were older but we think they may have been the cleanest showers we've ever been in a campground. They have a playground for the kids, a game room and even a pool which wasn't open for the season yet in mid-May. There is also a free casino shuttle that can take you around town and a Smith's grocery store not too far away.
Overall there are much worse places to be stuck for a week. Lastly, the people there were very friendly! We will probably try to boondock close to the Salt Flats next time but it's nice knowing this place is nearby.

This is a strange border/casino town, and this KOA was sort of in a weird location. This is the perspective of a mom with two teeny boys. If I was with adults and ready to throw down cash at a blackjack table, it would be a perfect location. In fact, arguably this place might be a perfect place to hold Gamblers Anonymous meeting.
I digress. The campground was clean, level, everything worked, and the playground was awesome for the boys. Easy in and out. So easy, in fact, I forgot to take pictures.

Large park with all amenities. Wi-fi was very weak and there weren’t very many spots taken. Finding a good place to eat in town was a challenge.

Nothing really great in my opinion about this campground but I AM grateful to have a SAFE place to stop on the side of I-80 with a good cell phone Signal and with a clean bathroom. KOAs seem to all have that at a minimum so they will always get at least three stars even though the actual site is a gravel parking lot and nothing more.

We stayed the previous night in another KOA in Wyoming, so I guess we were expecting something similar. Although the grounds were tidy the sites are slightly tiered so leveling may be a problem in some sights. All are gravel. We stayed in a full hookup sight. The real negatives were the lack of WiFi (which was only available in the office). We expected cable like the previous KOA but although the cable box and wire are there, they are not functional. When we called the office they said “Oh yeah. We got rid of that”. Okay???. Also the entire park is 30 amp. Doable but a little surprising.
