The Witches Brew

Through black-painted walls, grand vintage mirrors, dangling lightbulbs and burning candles, guests make their way through the mazelike space to gather 'round rustic tables and vintage armchairs. The staff is friendly, and the crowd skews young and diverse. The menu has a lengthy selection of unusual teas and coffees, including more than 70 choices on the espresso menu, each with an appropriately Goth name, like "Black Widow" or "Witch Doctor." Food choices include the usual desserts - brownies, pies, cookies - and savory items, such as focaccia with rosemary and olive oil. Vegan offerings are also available.
