Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 13, 2023While the staff was very friendly, the facilities are run down. It appears that maintenance has been deferred for some time. No good place to walk our dog as there were stickers everywhere. I would not stay here again as I saw another rv park just down the same road that was much nicer looking. The park is adjacent to railroad tracks so you do get a lot of train noise.

I stopped here when my truck blew it's motor, and the super friendly staff was there, late at night to take my call, guide myself and the tow truck into a space, and hooked me up with a favorable AAA nightly rate while I figured out what to do.
I'm making arrangements to have the RV towed back home, and once again the staff has been really accommodating, letting me figure out my situation before committing to paying for a bunch of extra nights I may or may not need, depending on when I get a truck to take my RV home.
As for the park itself, it is winter time with a little snow on the ground and the gravel drive-ways are maintained with a little dragger to compact the snow without tearing up the grounds. It's fairly small, close to train tracks, however the trains don't seem to run late at night...if they do they didn't wake me up. I didn't hear one past around 9 or 10 PM.
Water and Sewer were also available, even in the frozen winter, unlike some other parks for two to three times the money elsewhere.
The park appears to be about 1/4 filled with mostly permanent residents, but they're all in modern, clean trailers.
I will definitely be staying here again in the future, it's the right distance from my home in California for a full day's travel, and I'll always be grateful for the great service, and the really fair price, all things considered. I'm rating this place 5 stars overall, I give out stars based on price. I wouldn't expect a place this affordable to have manicured lawns and an amusement park, so I'm not going to ding a place for not having things outside the scope of the price point.

Older park, but very quiet with reasonably clean restrooms. Spacious showers with good hot water supply. Spent a clean and comfortable evening out of the rain and wind!

Did an overnight here while headed to The Tetons. Pull through site with all the hookups. Clean grounds and facilities. The lady at the desk was helpful and made our check in a breeze. Price is right when you compare it to California. We'd stay here again, for sure.

Stayed one night. It’s an older park and could use some maintenance and cleaning. Mix of semi-permanent and transient RVs. Some of the semi-permanent folks had a lot of stuff stacked around and behind their rig. Office person was friendly and helpful. Sites are a bit close; a 45-footer may have trouble with tight turns and close quarters. Showers were clean, a couple sinks need replacing (rusted through), and one toilet nearly toppled over because it was missing a bolt holding it to the floor. The park doesn’t enforce its leash requirement for dogs. Other than Angel Lake, there is nothing to see or do in Wells; it’s a stop on the way to somewhere else.

Not much has changed based on the 2021 - 2023 reviews posted here.
Friendly staff "plus" online reservation option (that worked).
No cable television which is still listed as a service on the web site.
My OTA television was poor - - - but one's rig equipment is a big factor - - -
My basic system could detect 8 channels, three of those COZI etc type and 5 that had a
"Test Signal On"
Did not use the restrooms/showers.
Wi-Fi was 5G and worked fine.
Consumer Cellular was 5-bars {{CC uses at least two national carriers; I do not know which my phone has - - do suspect CC gets far lower priority on those carriers . . . more so when roaming}}

Decent, convenient little park. Great accommodating service and sparkling clean bathrooms. More of a permanent living park for most of the tenants, but very well kept, and walking distance to a grocery store and a dollar store across the street.
The park is very convenient to Hwy 50 and far enough from the road so you don't hear traffics noise. Site and facilities were very clean, hosts were very nice. A train goes by a few times a night but other then that it was very quiet. Angel lake is a close drive and worth seeing. It is quite plain but fine to stay overnight in. Some longer term residents stay there as well.
Clean and pleasant. Quit. Other than my 4 kids. Very helpful. Needed a later and they were more than happy to share. Just needed one night. I will stay again as we pass through. Thanks.
