Captain Bob Liston began offering his first class charter service in 1998 aboard the Lethal Weapon, and has continued to offer extremely successful fishing charters out of Wells Harbor, Maine since that time. His reputation and repeat customers can attest to his uniquely successful fishing charters. He has been involved in commercial and sport fishing, beginning his career on the ocean in 1965 as a lobster man. Prior to owning and operating the Lethal Weapon, he owned and managed six different boats from Georges Bank off the coast of Southern New England to The Dry Tortugas out of Key West, Florida. In 2014, in addition to his uniquely successful coastal and deep sea fishing charters, the Lethal Weapon began offering wonderful family charter excursions to the legendary Boon Island Lighthouse, complete with Captain Bob's unprecedented narration of the history and lore of this historical sight. Boon Island Lighthouse is only accessible to view from aboard an ocean vessel. Sightings of marine mammals, including the seals that live on the island, is exciting for anyone interested in getting a glimpse of the unique oceanic ecosystem surrounding coastal Maine. The Lethal Weapon was built in 1995 and is a 38' fiberglass fishing boat designed for comfort with custom charters in mind. She is powered with a V8 diesel which delivers a cruising speed of 20 knots. The deck area is very spacious with rod holders and a custom padded boat chairs.
