Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on November 15, 2022This KOA appears to be almost entirely used by overnighters. We stayed for a few nights in the middle of a 4-day drive to rest and resupply. The campground has a slightly old/worn feel, but not necessarily in a bad way. The area is wooded and attractive, and is only a mile from the interstate. While there's limited highway noise, there is some train noise in the distance, but it's not too bad. The gravel sites were average size for a KOA, but with a nice grass lawn, picnic table and fire pit. The fenced dog park, also average size, was handy, and we found a short grassy "trail" behind the park to walk on leash. The free WiFi was too slow to be usable, even when the park was mostly empty during the day. AT&T only had 1 bar of 4G and was very slow even with our booster. Verizon had 5 bars and was pretty fast. Staff was friendly and helpful at finding us a different site when we found that the one we were originally assigned had low branches that we knew our motorhome would be too tall for. We'd return here for another overnight or two in the future.

Very nice! Level ground, mowed grass with gravel pull-they spots. The shadiest were back in spots. Bathroom very nice and clean. If I had to dig for a complaint it would be that no one was at the office while we were there and I couldn’t find prices posted anywhere. We stopped by the office at 8:12 to see if we owed any more but office doesn’t open until 8:30, and closed at 6:00 which was 1/2 before we got there. Many pulled in after us. My other complaint would be that there was only one light bulb working in Women’s bathroom. Several fluorescent bulbs were not on. 2 normal light fixtures only had 1 out of 4 bulbs working.

Lovely campground. Not every site is shaded but lots of trees in and around the campground. Showers and restrooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Park was okay. Some shade, but road should be repaired for smoother drive in/sites. Was looking forward to the pool for the kids, but was out of order. Nice showers, but need better ventilation. A huge plus was the dog park!!

Shower rooms floors had far too much debris, hair and dead bugs around the edges, and screws were loose in several wall hooks. Bathroom trash cans and toilets needed service in evening (3 of the 4 toilets were unusable) and still at 10 a.m., when the office was locked in spite of sign saying open at 8:30 a.m., so couldn’t report the problems.

We only stayed here for a night as we were passing through. Easy to get to from I-35 and far enough away so there was no road noise. Close to town and Walmart was close.

Clean and small KOA, but it does have all the niceties such as a pool. We stayed 3 nights but we feel this KOA is only good for 1 night maybe 2 in a pinch as there is train noise all hours of the night. It's close to I35 which makes it convenient and the Walmart is next door (sort of) but very close. We would stay here again as staff very friendly, but only for 1 night due to train noise.
