Riverforest Park Campground

This Campground is under new ownership. Lots of positive changes.Mostly seasonal but quite a few transient spots. On the Seneca River which is quite pretty. Amenities not open when we were there but new pool, new playground for kids, big restaurant and a secure entry. Showers could use updating
We stayed with our 30’ travel trailer for under $50. They were gracious enough to let us stay the night before they were technically open as we headed back North.

Very nice Campground. Only stayed one night while visiting family nearby. Far enough from I90 so there’s no traffic noise but close to the exit so it’s easy access. Clean campground with a mix of seasonal and transient campers. Would definitely stay here again.

Horrible! We registered, went to our assigned site, found the site was on an open field with no trees and rusty hook ups....and found plenty of dog crap on the site. We thought we would just watch out for that but then went to the bathhouse...gross is an understatement. Although their website advertises full hookup and our reservation was for full hookup; we were told they do not have sewer hook up.
The dump station had an overwhelming stench.
Dumpsters were overflowing.
Just a disgusting place.
There's more but just too much to write out, we requested a refund and left immediately.

We came in passing through on a roadtrip as just two girls tent camping in October. Although we were the only tent, the place felt safe and friendly. Bathrooms and showers were the cleanest of our trip! There was a pub on the grounds that everyone goes to at night and we got to meet all of the other people camping there. Everyone was so kind and the owners are amazing. We might even come back someday!
