“Explore New Hampshire's Parks!”

Clough State Park is located on the shore of Everett Lake, a 150-acre lake formed by a dam on the Piscataquog River. The park has a 900-foot sandy beach, playing fields, and large picnic areas. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.  Excerpt from our blog: "Starting on top of the Everett Dam, I took in a panoramic view of the lake and some of the trails that make up the park below. After getting my bearings I crossed the huge concrete dam on my bike and descended a trail that led along the banks of the west side of Everett Lake. The trail, an old logging road, was immediately flanked by water on both sides and gave a really cool feeling that you were almost riding on water."
