“Wind down and reflect on your mountain stay”

Our many years in the hospitality industry have been utilized to convert this lovely historic home into one of the area's premier lodging opportunities. We selected Waynesville, the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains, for its proximity to Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. At our inn, you will experience "all the service and amenities of a fine hotel in the quiet comfort of a bed and breakfast" Our service begins as you arrive, with luggage assistance and a warm welcome to our home. Once settled in, we provide daily maid service and nightly turn down service enhanced with bottled waters, chocolates, and the fine linens are refreshed with a relaxing lavender scent. Concierge assistance is always available with dining recommendations and reservations, directions to hiking, site seeing or information on all of the local events in Waynesville, Maggie Valley or Jackson County. We can also arrange for a host of options to enhance your stay such as massage treatments, fresh flowers, chocolates, a workout at a local fitness center, etc. Our sincere wish is that you feel truly comfortable here. To that end, please let us know how we may be of assistance. Our service begins as you arrive, with luggage assistance and a warm welcome to our home. As in any fine hotel, all of our rooms are tastefully decorated with fine fabrics, soothing colors, original local artwork, and are adorned with live plants and flowers from our garden. Enjoy quiet moments snuggled up in our spa robe in front of your fireplace. Each room is also equipped with a 23" flat screen TV and wireless internet access for your convenience. You will also be treated to locally made natural soaps and lotions. Our butler pantry, stocked with sodas, waters and a variety of snacks, is available throughout the day, along with fresh baked goods every afternoon. Every aspect of our bedding was chosen with great care to insure your absolute comfort. The beds themselves are made of anti-microbial and dust mite resistant latex. The crisp white sheets are 600 thread-count and are carefully ironed by hand. The pillows and opulent bedding are all hypo-allergenic. Whether you prefer a shower or a lavender scented bubble bath, you will enjoy fluffy white towels of 100% Egyptian cotton that also carry the soft relaxing fragrance of lavender...the fresh scent that gently permeates the entire house. After a full day of exploring Western North Carolina, wind down in a rocker on the wrap-around veranda overlooking the quaint town of Waynesville and reflect upon a wonderful stay in the mountains!

My wife and I stayed at Oak Hill the first weekend of November. What an amazing place! This was our first time visiting a B&B and we were a little nervous about what to expect. The location and house were gorgeous, but the Innkeepers, Darlene and Tony, made this a truly amazing experience. The breakfast was incredible and all the little touches around this certainly made you feel at home. The landscaping is fantastic. We were able to sit around a nice fire every night and have great discussion with our fellow travelers. They also know Waynesville and the surrounding area and are glad to recommend things to see and great places to eat. Darlene even made reservations for us at a couple of her favorite restaurants in Waynesville. We will definitely be back!
