“planted to perfection”
Within 30 minutes of Philadelphia, Chanticleer is one of the great gardens of the region. We celebrated two anniversaries in 2013 - our centennial as the Rosengarten estate and 20th year as a public garden. Come discover why London's Financial Times calls us "planted to perfection."
This stunning garden is incredible. Size-wise, it's very manageable for a visitor. It's rare to be able to see a truly Grand former Main Line Estate but with 2 mansions and a ruin garden, Chanticleer gives you a glimpse of the lifestyle of a time gone by. The gardens themselves are incredible throughout the season. You'll also find plenty of beautiful artisanal furniture and metalwork.

This is such a beautiful place to bring a bottle of wine and picnic basket on a Friday night! I prefer this to Longwood Gardens!
