Perhaps the least pretentious place to grab some drinks in a very pretentious city, this mainstay pub on Capitol Hill lures a friendly crowd of regulars, Hill interns and rednecks with cheap beer and awesome bartenders who are actually from DC; spiffed up after a 2011 fire, the narrow space is still a classic hangout that takes you back with taxidermy all over the walls and Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash on the jukebox.
