“enjoy some primitive camping”
Bemis Hill Campground has two campsites and four horse campsites. All are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. Campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. In addition, vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water is available. The four horse camp sites have tie rails, manure disposal, mounting areas, and a picnic shelter. Additional 15 horse trailer /truck parking is available across the road from the campground. All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
A very rustic area that is a prime spot for wild blueberry picking starting in mid July.
