“breakfast in a boeing 737!”
Part of this restaurant is now housed in a reconfigured Southwest Airlines Co. Boeing 737. The interior has been restored to give it the original "Southwest" look and the seats have been adjusted to fit the tables. Store your coats in the overhead bins. Serves Southern home-style cooking; seafood. Has been featured in USA Today, Dallas Morning News, Splash News (Great Britain, and on ABC).
Awesome! Blast from the past. Give it a try.
Closes at 2 during the week. But looks cool from the outside. (6:37 pm)
Stopped here on our family all American road trip. We ate in the plane side and my kids (8 & 12) totally dug it. The food was really good too. We all had the catfish buffet except the 8 year old who had the chicken fingers. Very home cooked taste! All the employees were super friendly too. Glad we stopped even though it put us behind schedule.
I dined in the plane last fall on homemade meatloaf. It was heavenly! Owners really care that you have an enjoyable time. It was fun to sit in the plane and eat and talk with friends.
Not open on sundays.
The first time I've boarded a plane without a TSA check for years... Fun stop just off Highway 67, right by the Walnut Ridge Airport. Great photo op for pictures by the plane, in the plane and in the cockpit. Tater Tots were excellent and highly recommended. There is a "regular" restaurant section as you go in, but you'll want to go into the plane itself for your meal. Very friendly people. You'll enjoy the stop.
