The Waterfront at Potlatch Resort

My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and all three times we have enjoyed our stay. The spots are clean, everything works, full hookups with cable and wifi. We sometimes stay at the casino in Shelton but this is the perfect spot if you want to hit Casinos & go exploring. You get a taste of two Casinos (one down the road, one fifteen minutes away and the other 1/2 an hour). Hikers and bikers will enjoy Hoodsport, Staircase and many more. If your going to get on a boat or jet ski then Cushman is the place to be.

Priced well, quiet enough and well worth the stay.

We stayed one night at The Waterfront on our way north. It is a small park with 16 RV sites on the Hood Canal. We were in site 13, which seems like the nicest one. It had a large grassy area on one side with a picnic table and full hook-ups. We watched a truck with about a 24’ trailer trying to back into 14 and had quite a struggle between the curve in the road, and the road being narrow. It would be easier for a motorhome or small camper or trailer. We had a full view of the canal and it was serene and beautiful. There were fire rings and benches overlooking the canal. The laundry room was clean and in working order. The manager was friendly and helpful. I didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment on them. Unfortunately you do hear highway noise as it is right on the highway; but it quiets down at night. We would stay again.

Beautiful location, amazing tide pools, bathrooms are spotless. It doesn’t get any better than this!!!!

Sites face Hood Canal, pretty close together, no privacy, but nice view. Lots of road noise though. Good bathrooms.
