The general store is well-stocked, and I got the idea that some of the locals who live in town actually frequent the store for supplies and the restaurant for an occasional meal. I took that as a good sign. Some of the sites on the outside of the loop have a beautiful view of the cemetery across the gulch. Most sites are gravel and relatively level.

There was a mixup with our reservation so we ended up dry camping in our motorhome in a large dirt lot per the manager’s recommendation. It wasn’t a problem for us not having hookups for 3 nights. It was quiet (though very windy!) even though it was Memorial Weekend. We’re going again this year but hope to stay in the actual rv park.

The park itself is quite small and the sites are pretty tight but the staff is super friendly. They also had a nice convenience store. We were able to walk everywhere from here which made it extra convenient. Virginia City is definitely worth a stop, such a cool town with huge history. Check out the hat maker downtown!

It's cute town and this RV park is the only game in town. I had booked 2 nights in the dry section but saw there was one night with utilities. They denied they had any openings, ok fine. On departure I asked to dump which they said they didn't have a dump station (doesn't feel legal if charging for camping). When informed there was an empty spot I could use to dump was denied again. Deters me from returning to this town that relies on tourism for their income

This RV park is very expensive but it is ideally located for experiencing Virginia City. The staff person was very pleasant and they have a store with some supplies. You can actually walk to the lively part of town. We did some saloon hopping and enjoyed live music. Some of the sites are located so that they overlook the valley below; ours did not. The parking lot style is typical of many RV parks but since most people will probably be spending their time in this fun little town, it is not so bad.

Visited Virginia City and decided to stay the night so we were walk ups. Nice gravel site with plenty of room for our Class A. Very friendly and if you are looking to stay in this historic old west town, definitely plan on staying here. The campground is not the attraction the town is where you’ll spend your time. Only upset for me was seeing I was charged for using the online platform which we walked in and worked directly with the staff.

This is MOST DEFINITELY in NEVADA, not Montana. I work in this park and those are pictures and reviews of our park in Virginia City NEVADA. If you are still not sure, please call 775-847-0999. Thank you.
The Virginia City reference to being close to West Yellowstone is entirely ACCURATE for anyone willing to read the full address. As with many city names, there is more than one Virginia City. The one discussed here is in MONTANA!!!
This RV park is actually located in Virginia City itself, between the center and the cemetery, opposite the public pool. It is a very convenient location for a visit of Virginia City, everything is in walking distance. Price is relatively high for the quality of the site though. Great laundry facilities but the opening times are awkward, almost making it impossible to do laundry with an overnight stay.
The photo posted is definitely not of this camp. Camp site has no real grassy area, just hard surface camp spots.
