Sandbridge Beach

I've been to a few beaches and this was by far the best experience. Right down the road from VA Beach (you can even see it at night), but so quiet and chill. Small town charm - a Dawson's Creek vibe. Go as far down Sandfiddler as you can and look for freebie parallel parking. Public parking lot was $3/5 a day - it's right by the bath house and pier. Highly recommend staying at the Sanctuary. There's a great little market at the stoplight when you arrive in Sandbridge - they don't price gouge and the pizza is good! Must eat at the Baja - recommend the rice bowl.
