Charming and unique. Be ready to bend and turn through the 30 minute tour. The nature preserve was moderately interesting if you're into local non-venomous snakes. The fossil collection is more personal than local. The panning and fossil digging experience were fun for my toddler daughter. All the supplies are planted but worth it. The staff were kind and the girl doing the tour did well despite being 13. Mia the prairie dog is quite charming and chances are good that you'll run into a salamander or a skunk.
